SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of The Onsite Foundation by providing
essential coordination and support for all fundraising and development efforts. Reporting directly to the Executive
Director, this position ensures the long-term sustainability of the organization by executing a wide range of
development and administrative responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development & Fundraising
- Support the Executive Director and Board in fundraising efforts and donor stewardship.
- Manage donor records, databases (CRM), and reporting to support donor cultivation and retention.
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events (e.g., gala, golf tournament).
- Assist with grant writing, proposals, and impact reporting.
- Lead donor acknowledgment processes, including thank-you letters, notes, and follow-ups.
- Help implement marketing and communication strategies related to fundraising.
Finance & Operations
- Ensure accurate tracking of all donations, pledges, and gifts in alignment with accounting procedures.
- Support the development and monitoring of annual and revised budgets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and assist with annual audits.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial policies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Recommend improvements to financial and operational systems to drive efficiency.
Administrative & Strategic Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for donor database maintenance, record-keeping, and donor communications.
- Conduct regular data analysis to measure progress toward fundraising and program goals.
- Implement systems and technology to support organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Research best practices and integrate them into operational structures and tracking systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage and support volunteers and committee members to expand donor relationships and strengthen connections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit development or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, or related area (or equivalent experience).
- Strong technical proficiency in QuickBooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and social platforms.
- Demonstrated skills in project management, communication, budgeting, and donor engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a growth mindset and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
- Hybrid position: required in-person work in Nashville, with the flexibility to work remotely
- Occasional travel required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
