Role Overview:
The Diesel Technician will perform inspections, repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and preventive maintenance
- Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, steering, and fuel systems
- Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs
- Use calipers, gauges, and computerized equipment for assessments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–2 years in heavy-duty truck repair
- Basic computer and diagnostic tool skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,828.24 - $80,000.00 per year
