- Part Time : be able to work 12pm-8pm and 3pm-8pm
Job Summary: Responsible for all input, distribution, and printing involving the Meal Tracker Menu System and serves as a direct liaison between the residents and the dietary department, and assure resident safety.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Input select menus daily
- Print tray tickets, production sheets, and nourishment labels daily
- Print daily select menus for rehab unit and personally distribute to the residents
- Distribute dietary satisfaction surveys to new admissions on day 3 of their stay
- Print weekly select menus for LTC and Memory Care units and take to the units on Tuesday
- Check boxes on units daily
- Input Dietary Communication slips and any changes into computer program
- Assist residents in filling out their menus as needed
- Attend all facility and dietary mandatory inservices
- Assure resident safety at all times.
Educational, Physical, and Other Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and work at computer for long periods
- Must be willing and able to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily when necessary, for example as Dietary Aide
- Must follow department dress code and wear clean uniform, clean shoes, a hairnet or cap inside kitchen and disposable gloves when handling food.
- Must wear name tag at all times when on John Knox Village property
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must be free from all communicable diseases and in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs. ), bend, squat, and move intermittently during working hours
- Must have basic computer skills.
