Our busy cardiology practice is seeking a registered dietician to join our care team. We are committed to providing comprehensive heart health services, including nutritional counseling and lifestyle management, to improve patient outcomes.
Position Overview
The Dietician will provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to cardiology patients referred by the physician. This position is structured as a per-patient opportunity, making it ideal for dieticians who prefer a flexible schedule and additional income.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments focused on cardiovascular health, dietary habits, and risk factors.
- Develop personalized nutrition plans in coordination with the cardiologist’s treatment goals.
- Educate patients on heart-healthy eating, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol control.
- Document patient encounters in compliance with office protocols and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with the physician and office staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- Licensed in the state of practice (if applicable).
- Experience in cardiology, diabetes management, or chronic disease nutrition preferred.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Compensation
- Per-Patient Pay Model: Compensation provided for each completed patient consultation.

Pay: $25.30 - $30.47 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
