Retail store in Newburyport seeks a Social Media Manager/Web Designer IN PERSON to plan, implement, manage and monitor our company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. Also, design and implement a Shopify e-commerce web site for both locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:- Appear in person to manage all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Create and maintain our web presence online. Experience in creating a Shopify e-commerce site helpful.
- Developing strategies for an effective social media presence.
- Creating digital content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Identification and development of new and compelling content.
- Help strengthen and build our social media presence.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Monitor social media analytics to track performance and optimize strategies
- Assist in developing a web presence for both stores.
- Job Requirements:
- In person
- 1-2 years social media experience.
- Knowledge and experience with the full array of social media platforms including TikTok and Pinterest.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating content for marketing and social media including photo and video.
- Shopify web design experience.
- Team player who can work with all different levels of employees.
- Available for a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and Holidays!
- Occasionally assist in store to stay involved with updated inventory and knowledge of best sellers.
