We are looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with psychiatric or psychological needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care services, such as helping with daily activities, providing transportation, and assisting with medical needs. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in developing social, recreational, and other independent living skills as appropriate.
- Have a clear understanding of the treatment plan
- Monitor client's health and well-being.
- Maintain a safe environment for clients.
- Ensure that client's rights are respected and maintained.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments and other activities as needed.
- Document client's progress and changes in condition.
- Have the ability to effectively implement de-escalation techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
