Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Various Openings in 5 Boroughs
Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in residential environments. DSPs are vital in helping residents live more independently by providing personal care, promoting community integration, and implementing individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal prep, and medication management
- Support and implement individualized care and behavioral plans in collaboration with the care team
- Foster resident independence, inclusion, and engagement in the community
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment in compliance with all policies
- Accurately document resident progress, observations, and incidents in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in patient care or a related field
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to support individuals with a range of physical and developmental needs
