Locations and Shift Available
We are currently hiring DSP in:
- Shakopee
- Evenings weekdays
- Weekends rotation between morning and evening shift
- Northfield
- Evening weekday shifts
- Weekends rotation between morning and evening shift
- Awake overnight alternating weekly schedule
- $18.50 to $24.00 per hour

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Must pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services background study
- Comfortable working independently and following a structured routine
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration training is preferred but will be provided if needed
- Experience in direct care, mental health, or disability services is helpful but not required
You will provide support that is both compassionate and compliant with 245D standards, including:
- Providing direct care in line with each person’s Coordinated Service and Support Plan (CSSP) and CSSP Addendum
- Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, hygiene, meals, and mobility
- Maintaining client safety and supervision in accordance with 245D licensing
- Offering cueing, coaching, redirection, and crisis prevention support
- Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication reminders
- Teaching and supporting independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and basic health and safety routines
- Providing transportation to appointments, outings, and community activities using a company vehicle
- Supporting community integration, relationship-building, and meaningful participation in daily life
- Implementing and tracking individual outcomes and support plan goals
- Following Individual Abuse Prevention Plans and Positive Support Strategies
- Completing accurate daily documentation and progress notes that meet 245D requirements
- Reporting incidents in accordance with the Minnesota Vulnerable Adult Act and company policy
- Communicating regularly with team members, supervisors, guardians, and case managers
