Job Title: Director – Early Childhood Education
About Us:
At Wee World Early Childhood Enrichment Hub, children don’t just learn—they become. We’re a bilingual (English-Spanish) early childhood center serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in a joyful, nurturing, and culturally rich environment. We believe in whole-child development, community care, and leading with love. Our programs include early care, weekend heritage language classes, Saturday night care, and teacher development.
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Director to lead our center and help us shape the next generation of joyful, confident learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with OSSE/DC regulations
- Lead and support a team of dedicated educators and staff
- Build strong relationships with families and foster a welcoming school culture
- Manage enrollment, licensing, assessments, and quality standards
- Coordinate training, staff schedules, and professional development
- Collaborate with the Founder to grow programs like Wee Teach and Saturday Night Care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in early childhood settings
- Strong knowledge of child development and licensing requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred but not required
- Passion for inclusive, culturally responsive education

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
