Our client, a "big box" building in NJ, seeks a Director of Construction
This is a confidential role. More comprehensive details will be discussed with qualified candidates. This is an onsite role in Northern NJ. Comp is 200K+
Scope: Plan projects and oversee progress. Responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling subcontractors, vendors and consultants
- Maintaining compliance and quality control
- Communicating with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s and Material submittals
- Coordinate inspections
- Lead for permits and approvals
- Daily walk throughs
- Lead pre-construction meetings
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience
- Proficient with construction, building management and maintenance software preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and physically must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification; 30-Hour OSHA preferred
