The Director of Paid Search will be responsible for leading and executing paid search campaigns to drive revenue, acquire customers, and achieve business goals for our largest Enterprise clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, optimizing campaigns, and staying up to date with industry trends. You will oversee the day-to-day execution of Paid Search initiatives for our most complex Enterprise clients. All digital campaigns are dedicated to generating high-quality leads while meeting aggressive marketing performance and ROI goals. The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong leader and analytical thinker with a long-term vision of performance-oriented marketing, data-driven, detail-oriented, and with a love for driving results.
This can be a fully remote position (U.S. only) or an in-office/hybrid position for those who live in the Greater Sacramento Area.

What you'll do:
- Develop comprehensive paid search strategies aligned with business objectives, including market research, competitor analysis, and targeting strategies.
- Oversee the execution, optimization, budget pacing, and performance analysis of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Manage and optimize multimillion-dollar advertising budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI.
- Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and report on key metrics like conversion rates, cost-per-acquisition, and customer lifetime value.
- Continuously optimize campaigns by testing and refining ad copy, keywords, targeting, and landing pages.
- Drive channel growth by digging into the details to find new areas to mine, considering all of the nuts and bolts of paid search that take an account from ok to good to great.
- Collaborate with other marketing teams, data analytics, and relevant departments to refine the customer sales journey and enhance overall campaign alignment.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging tools and strategies in the paid media space.
What You'll Have:
- MUST HAVE 10+ years of experience working in digital marketing
- MUST HAVE 8+ years of experience with a concentration in search, video, and display
- A BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- Direct experience with interactive marketing and media strategy, planning, campaign management, and campaign performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Experience managing Search, Discovery, YouTube, Display, PMax campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to manage direct-response marketing campaigns
- Experience in conversion rate optimization for lead gen campaigns
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends & make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing Business ROI/Outcomes

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 /year, DOE.
