Salary Range: $170,000 – $190,000 per year, based on experience

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a driven and capable nursing leader to fill the role of Director of Nursing. They are particularly interested in candidates currently serving as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who are prepared to advance into the DON role. Comprehensive training, mentorship, and support will be provided to ensure a successful transition and continued professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, guide, and manage the nursing staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
Implement and oversee nursing standards and policies in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Mentor and train nursing personnel, promoting career development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute individualized care plans.
Ensure compliance with all clinical documentation, regulatory inspections, and audits.
Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license.
At least 2–3 years experience as an ADON or in nursing leadership within a skilled nursing facility.
Solid understanding of nursing home regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ambition and readiness to move into a DON role.
