Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Risk Management located in Cranford, NJ. The Director of Risk Management will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with company operations. Daily tasks include developing risk management strategies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with regulations, and establishing emergency response plans. The Director will also be responsible for training staff on risk management procedures and collaborating with various departments to ensure risk management goals are met.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Risk Assessment, Risk Mitigation, and Risk Management strategies
Proficiency in Compliance Monitoring, Emergency Response Planning, and Regulatory Knowledge
Experience in developing and implementing Risk Management Programs
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to analyze data and create comprehensive risk reports
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent are a plus
Experience in the intermodal or transportation industry is preferred
