Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rooms to oversee all aspects of our hotel's room operations. This leadership role is essential in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, optimizing revenue management, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hotel management, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Rooms Division, including front office, housekeeping, and night audit teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve overall service delivery.
- Monitor room occupancy rates and revenue management practices to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a culture of excellence in service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the hotel.
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices.
- Proficient in night audit procedures and front office operations.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
