Who You’ll Work With
We tell the powerful story of how Corebridge makes it possible for more people and institutions to take action in financial lives – for their own and on behalf of others. Our team designs and executes advertising programs, internal and external communications strategies, and client and prospect engagement programs to showcase who Corebridge is to our customers, distribution partners and employees. Our team oversees brand positioning and strategy, digital and social media, employee and executive communications, media relations, industry research and thought leadership, product marketing, customer regulatory communications, and social impact and sponsorship programming.
About The Role
As Director, Plan Sponsor marketing and retention, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of new programs, strategies, and communications to retain strategic retirement plans. This will include the definition, lead and scale of long- term retention strategies and execution of strategic touchpoints that drive overall Group Retirement growth. This position will work closely with various areas of business development to improve the overall client experience and drive core business objectives supporting retention and growth and each stage of the client journey. The journey begins with new plan onboarding and will travel through anniversary programs and successful growth deployment activities. This position will work closely with Relationship Management and will develop plan sponsor “story” for ongoing relationship management like – plan review, business planning, C&E, and more. This role will work closely with other areas of Corebridge on the development of the program and be able to quickly modify as needed for target focus sponsors.
Responsibilities
- Plan Sponsor Strategy (retention and deepening relationships)
- Managing our Retention (Rebid) presentations and content related to our service model
- Maintaining the Business Plan presentation (slide library)
- Support the Plan Review process working with our Relationship Management team
- Executing on foundational communications (including hot topics, eNewletters, OFTs)
- Time sensitive ad-hoc communications (market volatility, SECURE Act etc.)
- Participate in the development and execution of our B2B webinar platform
- Support our SMEs in preparing for our client Forum and K-12 symposiums
- Developing and auditing the Plan Sponsor Marketing Resource Site with an eventual move to the Seismic platform
- Award submissions (related to industry organizations and Plan Sponsor of the Year etc.)

Skills and Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- 15+ years of experience in Relationship Management Strategies, Communications, Marketing and related activities
- Must be able to present to groups ranging from small to large in size of key decision makers
- Strong analytical skills
- Marketing development and operations experience
- Coordinate expense management activities
- Be able to assist in the management of outside consultants and internal marketing utility partners on deliverables
- Meet deadlines and work under tight deadlines
- Experience in the group retirement business
- Comfortable working with key senior leaders
- Strong understanding of the industry and industry trends
