Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper sanitation standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and cooks during peak hours.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas tidy throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
- Follow all food handling safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
