Job Summary:
The Dishwasher at Arcade Time Entertainment is a vital part of the kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position also supports overall kitchen cleanliness and organization, helping the team maintain the highest standards of safety and sanitation in our Play – Win – Eat – Drink environment. A clean and efficient kitchen allows our culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the dishwashing machine and hand-wash items as needed.
- Ensure all dishware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and surrounding workstations.
- Dispose of trash, recycling, and kitchen waste in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries.
- Support the kitchen team with basic prep work during slower periods, as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, counters, and storage areas at the start and end of shifts.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies as outlined by Arcade Time Entertainment and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate promptly with management regarding any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.
- Work efficiently to keep up with demand during high-volume periods, including events and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic sanitation and cleaning practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights as required.
Work Schedule:
Full-time or part-time position within a 24/7 operational schedule. Shifts include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, with scheduling flexibility based on business needs.
