Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet service by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when required.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining a hygienic workspace.
- Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
