We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Assist with bussing tables and returning used dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.
- Support banquet operations by preparing dishware for events as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
