Duties
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by helping with basic food service tasks.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues in various tasks as needed.
