We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy kitchen setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen operations.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
