We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing and polishing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is required.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong cleaning skills with a focus on maintaining a hygienic workspace.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary tasks is a plus.
