We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy environment.
- Support food preparation by assisting with basic cooking tasks as needed.
- Help with banquet service by preparing necessary items for events and ensuring timely clean-up post-events.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen to uphold hygiene standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all items.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Culinary experience or training is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
