Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and surrounding kitchen spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping in catering or banquet setups.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during peak service times.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist in maintaining a clean environment throughout the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
