Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant or catering services.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed to maintain a clean environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues.
- Experience in catering, banquet services, or hotel kitchens is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
