Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
Skills:
- Hospitality: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers and coworkers
- Catering: Assist with food preparation and setup for catering events
- Food preparation: Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Food handling: Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- Bussing: Clear tables and clean dining areas during busy times
- Culinary: Gain exposure to culinary techniques and learn from experienced chefs
- Restaurant: Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas
