Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours by providing clean dishes and assisting with other tasks as required.
- Participate in maintaining a clean kitchen by sweeping, mopping floors, and taking out trash as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and banquet service is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with an emphasis on collaboration within the hospitality industry.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
