Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food service within a restaurant.
Availability
This is a part time position, however weekends and evenings are required.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Possible Bus tables and help clear dining areas to ensure a tidy environment.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Perform routine maintenance on dishwashing equipment and report any issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks beyond dishwashing, including food preparation and bussing.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential.
