Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Support catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere within the hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed, including catering events or banquet setups.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
