Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a kitchen setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous but not required.
