Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and helping with banquet setups.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being able to complete tasks independently.
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
