We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Your efforts will support the overall efficiency of our culinary operations and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and helping cooks with basic kitchen duties.
- Support the catering team during events by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Buss tables to clear away dirty dishes and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Willingness to assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
