Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are washed and sanitized to the highest standards. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Bus tables and assist servers in clearing dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support catering events by preparing necessary items and maintaining cleanliness during service.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service or catering environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
