We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist in the organization of clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials according to health and safety regulations.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables during peak service times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
