Purpose: To assist in the sorting and/or pricing of all items donated to the Union Mission as well as assist in daily operations of the store when, where, and as needed.
Duties:
· To help load and unload donations from the truck as needed
· To sort and/or price items that will be sent back the store to be sold
* Bric Brac, Clothing, linens, shoes, purses, belts, toys, electronics, etc.
· Employees may be required to work any and all positions within the Distribution Center
· Employees may be asked to work at the Thrift Store if it is necessary
· To perform any other duties as assigned.
· Employees are always cross trained for other departments to fill in when needed.
· To work a register if and when needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Must be flexible to move from task to task with ease.
· Must be able to work well with people.
· Must be able to handle difficult situations at times.
Credentials and Experience:
· High School graduate or equivalent
· Experience working with people or in retail is preferred.
This position pays $11.00 an hour and has paid sick time, mental health days, holiday pay. The position is Monday through Friday with weekends and holidays off.
