The Receiving Specialist is responsible for efficient and effective control during the receipt of materials. This role will work across Finance, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure that best practice principles are upheld within a highly complex materials environment.
This position reports to the 2nd shift Manager and is part of the receiving warehouse located in the A51 warehouse and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- The Distribution Specialist executes the receiving, staging, storing and raw materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.
- Champion lean culture such as 5S, Kanban, Standard Work, Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping.
- Oversee receiving activities.
Who you are:
- High school diploma or work equivalent
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements
- Capable of being on feet for duration of shift leading large teams
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- 2+ years’ experience in receiving and material handling
- Inventory control experience
- Proven ability to teach, implement, and sustain lean principles and processes

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
