Rejuvenate Salon & Spa is seeking an individual for the role of District Manager to help us enhance the lives of seniors by ensuring our salons operate with each resident’s best interest at heart as well as ensuring each salon is managed appropriately. All candidates must be experienced, care-giving, organized, and reliable. Experience in cosmetology is not necessary, but preferred.
SUMMARY
The District Manager for Rejuvenate Salon & Spa is responsible for the operations, guest experience, team development and overall performance of the assigned market they directly supervise. They should lead by example and will spend time in communities observing daily operations and guest experiences while they coach and develop their team.

Development of Team
- Recruit and train salon personnel. Ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner with the best candidates. Continuously coach and offer feedback to foster an environment of commitment and growth.
- Ensure a high level of community satisfaction through strong leadership, communication and retention.
- Document important conversations. Measure performance and provide appropriate feedback.
Salon Experience/Administrative Tasks
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all salons; that each salon complies with applicable state and local sanitation guidelines
- Implement, promote and enforce all corporate policies and procedures
- Ensure loss prevention policies are adhered to and assets of each salon are protected
- Ensure all staff licenses are current, valid and posted as required
- Maintain and uphold safety standards by identifying and correcting conditions that may affect salon safety
- Ensure salons are open during posted hours, covering staff shifts, if necessary
- Participate in the opening, closing and promoting of salons, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed/Certified Cosmetologist or Beauty Professional a plus, but not required
- 3 years of successful, related experience as a multi-unit supervisor preferred
- Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Able to travel between community salons on a daily basis
- Able to coach and model exceptional guest service
- Team player with strong leadership skills. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good judgement and time management
- Demonstrates strong training/presentation skills
- Communicates effectively with salon team, peers, community leadership and employees, supervisors and salon guests
- Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills required to read/analyze various documents/reports
- Valid Driver’s License
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel unaccompanied and unassisted if necessary, including overnight stays
- Strong resident service skills, including clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple, detailed projects
- Proficient use of electronic business tools: laptop computers, computer applications, in-store systems, and communications devices
- Ability to move unassisted throughout communities for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day)
Ability to lift and/or move objects and displays (up to 50 lbs.), bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, and climb on ladders
