Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets are clean, comfortable, and well-groomed, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness.
Duties
- Bathe and groom pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming requirements.
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during the bathing process.
- Assist with drying, brushing, and styling pets as needed.
- Ensure all pets are treated with kindness and respect throughout their grooming experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet sitting, veterinary assistance, or animal care is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including restraint methods.
- Familiarity with dog training or grooming practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and comfort.
- Must be able to lift and handle animals of various sizes safely.
