Position: Pet Care Attendant Floor Lead
Reports to: Facility Director
Location: Fur Baby Pet Resort – Milford, DE

What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and support daycare team members throughout the day
- Oversee playgroup safety, structure, and rotations for dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Conduct temperament evaluations and assist in creating customized Behavior Support Plans
- Manage daily operations—feeding, meds, enrichment activities, and incident reporting
- Help develop and implement new enrichment ideas, play events, and guest add-ons
- Train and mentor new team members; identify and guide future leaders
- Foster a positive work culture, maintain high morale, and handle client concerns with professionalism
- Meet regularly with leadership to align on goals, staffing, guest experience, and department improvements
Your Qualifications:
- Previous leadership or team management experience required
- Minimum 1–2 years working professionally with dogs in a daycare, kennel, or similar environment
- Solid understanding of dog behavior, body language, and playgroup management
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and coaching in real-time
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Calm under pressure and able to take charge in high-stress situations
- Organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about developing others
- Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of computer systems and online databases
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and being on your feet 8+ hours per day
