Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Driver to join our nonprofit team. This role would be responsible for donation pickups of tangible and perishable pickups for our organization and food bank. The role also involves assisting in our warehouse/food bank with incoming and outgoing donations and keeping it clean and in order.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including box truck and van for pickups and deliveries.
- Load and unload goods using a pallet jack and/or fork lift.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment.
- Must be a good with people.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse, ensuring that all items are stored properly and safely.
- Position requires 1 weekend per month
Experience
- Proven experience operating box truck, fork lift, and pallet jack.
- Able to team lift furniture .
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the public on our behalf.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
