Position Summary:
The Door Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining our reputation for high-quality installations. This role is responsible for completing service and warranty work on installed doors, performing detailed walkthroughs of new-build homes, and flagging workmanship issues for resolution by the original installer. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site service and warranty repairs for door installations (interior and exterior), including adjustments, replacements, and minor carpentry fixes.
- Conduct final walkthroughs of completed new construction homes to:
- Inspect door installation quality
- Check for missing hardware, damage, misalignment, or incorrect materials
- Document and report deficiencies to the installation crew for correction
- Communicate clearly with field supervisors, builders, and installers regarding service updates or repeat issues.
- Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and photos using mobile apps or company systems.
- Ensure all warranty work is completed to builder expectations and within company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage on-hand inventory of repair parts and tools.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- 2+ Years of experience installing doors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
