Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including wheelchair vans and other commercial vehicles.
- Transport patients to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Assist patients in & out of transportation as necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, patients, and team members.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and simple maintenance tasks.
Experience:
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to safely assist patients in & out of the vehicle using appropriate equipment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and patients.
- Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to assist patients in & out of vehicle as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays if required.
