- Is dependable in consistently reporting to work on time and is prepared to perform duties to maintain consistent care for the children.
- Is an encourager and communicates positive words with families, extended families and the community who are a part of our daily experiences in caring for young children who support this program.
- Is adaptable and flexible to flow with the direction of teachable moments and engages in play with the children and is innovative in making each day an adventure for the children.
- Is a person who can supervise children in redirection by using open-ended questions in finding solutions with children.
- Is a person who will follow the curriculum designed for this program using the following resources: The Gospel Project, Experience Curriculum, Danielle’s Place, Preschool Plan It, Education.com and STEAM activities.
- Is prepared well in advance and ready for daily adventures with the children using the materials and resources provided by this program.
- Is knowledgeable and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Is collaborative and cooperative with management and co-workers' day by day, is tolerant in difficult situations and unexpected changes.
- Is supportive, fair and focused on all aspects of this program.
- Is a part of maintaining a positive attitude and working with management and co-workers as a team member to maintain the valued reputation of this preschool in the community.
- Is a person who understands the importance of being responsible for “other duties that are needed or required and not limited” to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Is a person who understands meeting the needs of the two-year-olds consist of lifting to 40 lbs., changing diapers, potty training daily.
- Is a person whose focus is of “strong values and excellence” in actions, words and deeds demonstrating to children who are “sponges” that are “little blessings” ready and eager to learn.
- Is a dedicated, loving, caring person who has the ability and skills to share with this program of “value and excellence”.
Experience
- Education: High school or equivalent education with Early Childhood Credential
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility or home school environment
- Age: Minimum 20 years of age
