General Summary:
Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick, a Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Hospital Physician Enterprise practice, is seeking a full time Echocardiogram Technician for a brand-new location in Old Bridge, NJ, opening Fall 2025.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiogram studies according to RWJPE Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick and IAC standards and policies.
- Prepare and complete patient, physician, and required testing information for interpretation. Complete all test documentation in a complete, clear, and timely manner. Ensure images are appropriately acquired and saved for review/storage. Communicate and document all critical values and appropriate findings, as per the practice policy.
- Respond to age specific needs of each patient.
- Maintain technical skills. Responsible for learning to perform new skills/duties as required to enhance personal and departmental growth. Maintain continuing education credits to meet IAC standards.
- Ensure Echo PAC and other equipment are functioning appropriately.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular Program
- ARDMS or CCI Registered with five years of Adult Echo experience necessary
- Experience with GE equipment a strong plus
- Strong computer skills, EMR experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in schedule and hours required based on department needs
