JOB SUMMARY:
The EGM Tech is responsible for keeping all gaming machines in working order while providing exceptional customers service to our guest.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs daily maintenance, and minor repairs or adjustments on casino machines.
- Monitors functioning of gaming machines and calls for (emergency pulls/money drops) when necessary.
- Properly record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and documents malfunctions needing repair.
- Notifies supervisor and/or appropriate machine vendors when machines need to be repaired.
- Respond to and resolves patrons’ complaints, and answers questions about gaming machine functions and payouts.
- Supply patrons with any change they may need for gaming machines or assisting them in any way needed.
- Verifies jackpot payoffs and monitors payment of hand-delivered jackpots to ensure promptness.
- Assist in maintaining a clean casino floor during high volume by emptying ashtrays, wiping off machines, picking up trash, and straightening chairs.
- Attend all necessary training and departmental meetings as required.
- Maintains a professional work environment with casino guest, managers, and staff.
- Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Must uphold and promote a high degree of confidentiality.
- Performs all other task or duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.
- High school diploma or its equivalent required.
- Previous EGM Technician experience is preferred.
- Must possess an excellent working knowledge of the casino gaming machines, including the individual games and how they are played.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid liquor license through the State of Oklahoma A.B.L.E. Commission.
- Must maintain a valid Food Handler Permit.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
