Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
· Provide design services to multiple concurrent projects and provide direct professional support to clients.
· Comply with all authorities and utilities requirements and NEC codes.
· Design and specify power distribution, low voltage electrical systems, lighting design and fire alarm systems.
· Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations.
· Review and estimate construction budgets.
· Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and attend construction meetings.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
· 8-12 years of experience in design of lighting systems, commercial, institutional, residential, and industrial power systems, fire alarm systems and construction cost estimates
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoDesk REVIT, and Bentley Microstation
· Engineering in Training (EIT) License required
· Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
· LEED certified preferred
· Experience with high-rise buildings preferred
· Experience with correctional facilities design preferred
· Experience on major infrastructure and building projects preferred
· Knowledge of telecommunications (voice, data), security, CCTV, A/V systems preferred
· Knowledge of high voltage and substation design preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
