Position Location: High Point, North Carolina
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will play a role in helping design and develop electrical systems for our innovative products. Your background will be essential in helping ensure the compatibility, performance, and functionality of our electronic devices across various platforms, including Apple and Windows/Android environments. You will gain exposure to the product development cycle while seeing how our team works to deliver products.
Job Responsibilities:
Electrical & Product Development
- Assist with PCB design and testing, including schematic capture, layout, and prototype evaluation
- Support circuit testing and product validation testing
- Conduct lab testing and data gathering for engineering analysis
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as schematics, test logs, and reports
- Other related tasks that may be assigned
Workshop & Prototyping
- Perform 5S workshop tasks to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
- Operate 3D printers to print prototypes or production parts
- Handle post-processing, including removing and finishing printed parts
- Exposure to some 3D design to create lab jigs/fixtures
Quality Assurance
- Assist in AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) quality control checks
- Participate in engineering drawing and part reviews to support product quality and compliance
Job Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in logic design and troubleshooting for power and data communication
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Has a knack for technology
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Apple's accessory specifications and requirements
