Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join the Safe and Sound Security System, Inc. team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and components, including low voltage applications, and will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various electrical security equipment. This role requires proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other precision measuring instruments.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate readings and functionality.
- Work with low voltage systems, including installation and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics to understand wiring diagrams and system layouts.
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components.
- Assist in the maintenance of hydraulic systems as needed.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with low voltage applications and hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Proficient in using voltmeters, precision measuring instruments, and calibration tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. (Must be able to use mobile phone, laptop and Teams.)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
