Role:
As an Electronics Repair Technician you will be working to calibrate and repair pressure transducers and other test equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Disassemble and clean hammer union transducers
- Perform calibration procedures on different models
- Pressure test hammer unions up to 20K PSI
- Adjust if required either using software or repair methods
- Precision soldering on 30-gauge wire
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Data entry for calibration certificate paperwork
- Assemble hammer unions back together with new hardware
- Directly responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of their area on a daily basis
- Maintain calibration standards
- Perform other laboratory support functions as required
Qualifications:
- A practical knowledge of electronics and test equipment are considered minimum requirements
- Organized, independent, self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to solve problems
- Steady hand, good eyesight, and previous experience with precision soldering
- Must be proficient in using various types of computer software
- Must be organized, able to work under deadline and manage competing priorities
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
