Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.Responsibilities: 1.Demonstarte excellence in facilitating students' success in daily grade K-4 visual art classes, including students with diverse learning preferences and needs.2.
Demonstrate a commitment to cultural responsiveness in teaching art and supporting a vibrant school community.3. Regularly assess and report student progress toward meeting state standards.4. Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and district staff for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions, and planning curriculum.5. Organize, plan, and facilitate annual K-4 Center Art Night6.
Attend annual Open House Events7. Facilitate student participation in Youth Art Month events such as the annual K-12 Youth Art Month Exhibit and Reception and the annual MMEA Virtual Art Exhibit.8. Communicate regularly with parent through email, phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and through approved social media.
